The roles of management and staff members have been determined in accordance with the Corporate Responsibility principles, which are secured by internal procedures.

KEBA Fastening Corporate Responsibility Principles are as follows:

  • We declare that we will keep any confidential information strictly confidential and will not release or disclose such information to any third parties without written notification.  We will no duplicate such information or use such confidential information other than its intended specific purpose.
  • We declare that we will not discriminate based on ethnic origin, gender, color, race, economic status, age, religion and will adhere to human rights policies.  Human resources will comply with the working age rules within the framework of the law and that we will maintain healthy working conditions free from all kinds of forced labor, harassment and mobbing.
  • We declare that we will attach importance to honesty and morality and avoid unfair competition within the framework of the ethical rules and law of the competitive environment we are in.
  • We declare that we will not provide benefits to the parties within the framework of our current duties and authorities and we will not act in a way that damage the Company’s reputation.

KEBA Fastenings’ CODE OF CONDUCT FOR SUPPLIERS, CREDITORS AND SUBCONTRACTORS

Suppliers (*) play a vital role in ensuring the sustainability of our entire supply chain.

To ensure that the products and services we provide comply with legal, economic, environmental, and social standards, aligned with our sustainable purchasing activities, we require our suppliers to adhere to the commitments outlined in our Code of Conduct policy. These commitments are based on the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN Agenda 2030, which are as follows:

Human rights and labor standards

  • Our company strictly rejects child labor in line with the Labor Law No. 4857 and UN SDG 8.7. In accordance with our ethical values and sustainability policy, individuals under the age of 18 are not employed. Age verification is carried out in all recruitment processes, and this policy is implemented without compromise.
  • Our company categorically rejects all forms of harassment — physical, verbal, psychological and sexual. We are committed to providing a safe working environment that respects the dignity and personal rights of our employees. We have a zero-tolerance policy against all forms of harassment.
  • Our company respects all dissenting opinions. Exclusion or discrimination due to differences of opinion is absolutely unacceptable.
  • Employees’ opinions are respected. No employee can be excluded because of their dissenting opinions or different ideas.
  • Employees’ right to organize is respected and the exercise of these rights is not hindered are arranged accordingly.
  • Employees are offered fair and adequate wages appropriate to the work they do.
  • In line with the principles of gender equality (SDG 5) and reducing inequalities (SDG 10), the elimination of discriminatory practices is supported.”

Health and Environment

  • Within the scope of health and well-being (SDG 3), a safe working environment that supports the physical and mental health of employees should be provided. Policies, procedures and training plans for employees should be prepared to prevent occupational risks.
  • Within the scope of responsible production and consumption (SDG 12); the use of environmentally friendly technologies should be ensured, energy should be managed efficiently, measures should be taken to protect water resources, waste reduction and recycling should be encouraged.
  • Within the scope of climate action (SDG 13); necessary actions should be implemented to reduce the impact of the carbon footprint (CO2), and these practices should be ensured both in their own processes and in the processes of their collaborators and subcontractors.
  • All legal regulations, restrictions and prohibitions regarding the use of hazardous products or substances must be complied with; furthermore, the use of substances defined as unacceptable by KEBA Fastenings must be prohibited.

Professional ethics

  • Our company strictly rejects all forms of bribery and corruption.
    In line with UN SDG 16, honesty, transparency and compliance with the law are the principles of all business relations. No employee or business partner may directly or indirectly give or receive a bribe or engage in corrupt activities.
  • Our suppliers must respect industrial property rights and take the necessary measures to ensure that these rights are not violated.
  • Suppliers must comply with personal data protection legislation and take the necessary measures to prevent the disclosure of confidential information. ○ Respect free competition and avoid monopolistic behavior.
  • KEBA Fastenings adopts fair and responsible supply chain practices that respect human rights. It is strictly against sourcing minerals from conflict zones that violate human rights.
